SWIM Program Year 1 Quarter 4 monitoring and evaluation
Update| The Smart Water Infrastructure and Management (SWIM) Niche Center for R&D (NICER) for region 02 was monitored by its funding agency, the DOST PCIEERD for the 4th quarter of the program’s year 1 implementation on December 5 and 8, 2022.
The three-year running program was implemented last November 15, 2021, with Isabela State University at the lead, along Cagayan State University, Quirino State University, and partner agencies. SWIM Program is spearheaded by Dr. Orlando F. Balderama, as the program leader. The program consists of four projects- Two (2) projects under ISU headed by Dr. Balderama and Dr. Rafael J. Padre, one (1) under CSU headed by Dr. Policarpio Mabborang, and one (1) under QSU headed by Engr. Israel Eraña.
As the 1st Year of the implementation of the program come to an end, the Project leaders and project staff discussed the progress and accomplishments of their projects. Project 2 was the first project evaluated on December 5, 2022 at Cagayan State University – Carig Campus AACCUP Center, while Project 1, 3, and 4, were evaluated on December 8, 2022 at CVAARRD Hall, Isabela State University, Echague, Isabela.
The four projects are expected to complete their deliverables for the first year on the first months of the 2nd year of its implementation.
